BLASTOFF Film Festival award-winner, Indie film “Turbo Cola”, eyeing a release into 350-500 theaters across the USA

BLASTOFF (Best Los Angeles Screenplay Theme-music and Original Films Festival) congratulates first-time Indie film producer, Brandon Keeton, and Director Luke Covert, on their recent successes.  They have secured a letter of intent from Showtown American Films to release their film, “Turbo Cola”, a BLASTOFF award-winner, into 350 – 500 theaters associated with the Independent Theater Owners Assn., all across the USA.

Giant Pictures is handling North American distribution. Cardinal XD, a premiere worldwide film sales, distribution and production company, is handling international distribution, including streaming of the film on certain airlines.

BLASTOFF is known to go the extra mile to assist submitters in furthering their careers.  In that vein the festival has now teamed up with two remarkable companies, Filmhub and Filmocracy, in giving submitters (writers, filmmakers, composers, and other creatives) access to dozens of high-octane decision makers from all around the world.

Access is provided via a Film Market which allows creatives direct one-on-one online access to pitch projects to, amongst others, distributors, producers, film executives, agents, and managers.  Winning projects become eligible for free tickets to attend the Market.  It’s an incredible opportunity for up-and-coming Indie filmmakers, who, traditionally, simply cannot compete in the premiere market events.

More congratulations are due to another BLASTOFF award-winner, Mathew Tretola, creator and producer of the wonderfully original animated comedy series, “Hovelton.”   Mathew will be pitching the series at the upcoming Film Market, to be held on October 07, 2022.  We wish Mathew every success.

At a prior Market event, Daniel Diosdado’s film THE NOMAD was picked up by Jack Sheehan, of Archstone Entertainment, for international sales during Cannes 2022!

For this upcoming Market, there will be a Market meet-and-greet cocktail party in Los Angeles on Oct 06, 2022.  See more about the Market and ticket availability here:  Oct 06 and 07 Film Market .
